Crayons of the Lake
These crayons are made from the colours of the earth as seen in satellite photos taken from space. The colours have been extracted from real 'lakes' in 12 locations around the world. The crayons produced by the Satellite Crayon Project are designed to bring the richness of Earth's colours to as many children as possible, to allow them to enjoy the colours of the real Earth as they wish, and to encourage their interest in and love of the Earth.
Lakes vary in origin and water quality from place to place, but their unique shapes and colours are even more striking when viewed from space. Using the vast amount of satellite imagery taken daily by satellites, the colours of 12 lakes around the world have been extracted and reproduced as 12 colours of crayon through a process of trial and error in collaboration with crayon artisans. Each colour is not named, but is marked with the latitude and longitude of the location of the lake from which the colour was extracted.
This product is made from carefully selected natural materials, such as honeydew, to prevent young children from putting them in their mouths. Another fun feature is that the packaging is designed to be interactive and when you open the lid, which reveals the colours of the satellite photo, you can see where each crayon's colour was extracted from.
About the Lake Crayon The Lake Crayon is the third in a series of crayons in the colours of the Earth produced by SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation as part of the Satellite Crayon Project, a project that uses satellite images as an activity to help people learn more about and love the Earth, following the Sea Crayon and Mountain Crayon series. This is the third series of crayons produced by the Satellite Crayon Project, a project that uses satellite images. Fukunaga Shiko is in charge of packaging production and sales on behalf of the project.
SKY Perfect JSAT (Satellite Crayon Project) "SKY Perfect! SKY Perfect JSAT is a company engaged in two businesses: broadcasting and distribution, including the SKY PerfecTV! project. We have started a small project called the Satellite Crayon Project, which is about learning about the colours of the earth, playing with the colours of the earth, and becoming more "fond" of the earth. First of all, children's interest in the Earth is their "first SDG". We will continue to propose products that stimulate children's curiosity and expand their world a little bit, using space as a starting point.
