Born in Osaka in 1983. After working at AWATSUJI design for seven years, established the design firm BULLET Inc. in 2013.
Fascinated by “design with material appeal”, she creates works that transcend the boundaries of graphics, making full use of a variety of materials, printing and processing. She is particularly knowledgeable in the field of packaging design and is the author of the book “Stepping into Package Design” (MDN Corporation / 2021).
Major awards include the German Design Award, One Show (gold), Pentawards (platinum), Cannes Lions, D&AD, iF Design Award, Good Design Award, Japan Package Design Award (gold), Japan Typography Annual (best work), etc.
