TAKIMOTO Mikiya

瀧本幹也

Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1974. Photographer. Representative works include BAUHAUS DESSAU ∴ MIKIYA TAKIMOTO (2005), SIGHTSEEING (2007), LOUIS VUITTON FOREST (2011), and LAND SPACE (2013), as well as Le Corbusier (2017) and CROSSOVER (2018), among others. Recent exhibitions include FLAME / SURFACE (CANON GALLERYS, Tokyo, 2017), CHAOS (Galerie Clémentine de la Féronnière, Paris, 2018), CROSSOVER (LAFORET Museum Harajuku, Tokyo, 2018), and CHAOS 2020 (Myoman-ji Temple, Kyoto, 2020). His works are in the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, among others. His photography direction credits include Like Father, Like Son / Soshite Chichininaru, directed by Hirokazu Kore-eda, winner of the Jury Prize, Cannes Film Festival. They also include Our Little Sister / Umimachi Diary, winner of the Japan Academy Film Prize for Picture of the Year, and The Third Murder / Sandome no Satsujin, nominated for the Golden Lion at the Venice International Film Festival.
