Buyer
Born in Tokyo.
After working as a buyer for IDÉE SHOP in Minami Aoyama, he launched method in 2007 and started working as a freelance buyer. Currently CEO of Method Co., Ltd., Visiting Professor at Musashino Art University, Department of Crafts and Industrial Design, Tokyo Business Design
Chairman of the Award Judging Committee and member of the Good Design Award Judging Committee. Focusing on the creation of domestic and overseas stores, he is involved in work related to all kinds of things, and continues to be active in a wide range of fields.
In 2013, "Separate volume Discover Japan Kurashi no Senmonten" was released by Ei Publisher. In 2014, Seibundo Shinkosha released "Method for Successful Shops That Sell with Design and Sense".
Major projects to date include the museum shop “Souvenir From Tokyo” at the National Art Center, Tokyo, 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT “21_21 SHOP”, “GOOD DESIGN STORE TOKYO by NOHARA”, “made in Pierre Hermé”, “Tsubame Sanjo Factory Festival” "and so on.
